An open database for calculating biodiversity footprints, developed by the Biodiversity Footprint Team at the School of Resource Wisdom JYU.Wisdom at the University of Jyväskylä. The BIOVALENT database contains biodiversity footprint data for about 200 different products and services across 49 countries and regions. In addition, the database includes biodiversity footprint data for 76 different food products across 244 countries and regions. The information in the database can be used, for example, to calculate an organization’s biodiversity footprint.
